This blog's namesake harks back to my first year at the College of Fine Arts.
Eight-week long projects saw me indulging my love of wandering research, and I would find myself six weeks in with piles of photocopies but no sketch model in sight.
Recognising my love of research as a crutch, my lecturer at the time urged me to just pick up my scalpel and balsa wood, and start building something. To my question of "what will I make?" she compelled me to trust that I will "learn in the making"; and so I did.
This blog is a rolling collection of pieces I find that push me to learn in the making, and a documentation of the results as I do. Let me know if you happen to find yourself in the same place!
